Jordan Collacutt is a digital content creator and figure skater based in Ottawa, Ontario.
I've spent the last years leading social media and digital content for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Prime Minister Mark Carney. There, I produced real-time photo and video moments, wrote viral social media copy, and found new ways to connect with an audience of millions. You can find a selection of my work here.
My work has brought in over 129 million views, trended as YouTube's #1 video, and even made international headlines.
Of all the best moments of the job, nothing topped creating content at the NHL's 4 Nations Face-Off. Capturing content of the game, filing it quickly for the digital team back home, and watching it take off with fans online.
It was there that it clicked; sports is the perfect intersection of my digital skills and the place that feels most like home: the arena.
So, I left politics to take on an even faster-paced challenge: sports content creation.
I'm excited to be back in the rink, and I'm honoured to capture the stories that unfold on the ice. Thanks for visiting my website and taking a moment to view my work.
